The domestic dog is a member of the Canis, which forms part of the wolf-like Canidae, and they’re the most widely abundant terrestrial carnivore. However, puppies are also good for our physical and mental health.

They play several roles for humans, such as hunting, pulling loads, protection, helping the police and the army, and camaraderie. This influence in human society has given them the nickname “man’s best friend“. The dog was the first species to be domesticated and has been bred selectively over millennia for different behaviors, sensory abilities, and physical attributes.
