A kitten is a juvenile cat or a family member of a cat. After birth, the kittens are completely dependent on their mother for survival and usually they don’t normally open their eyes after 7 to 10 days. After about two weeks, the kittens quickly develop and begin to explore the world outside the nest. After the 3 to 4 weeks, they start to eat solid foods and developing adult teeth. Domestic kittens are vastly social animals and generally enjoy human companionship.
